Ayumu Shinozaki joined Kanagawa International Law Office in January 2024 after working for 17 years at Baker & McKenzie. Based on tremendous experience at various trading houses, Ayumu covers wide range of legal matters related to international transaction made by Japanese companies, including M&A, group reorganization, litigation and dispute resolution, trade compliance. He provides practice-based advice in line with business needs for each client.

Especially, Ayumu has cutting edge knowledge and experience in the area of biomass fuel transaction, carbon credit transaction and international trade and commerce including to sanctions in Japan market.

Also, Ayumu has deep knowledge on semiconductor-related business and food business, and provides advice for the matters which these companies may face, including export regulations, and regulatory.
